More "Alien Peanuts"

Experimental pictures.
I think the out of focus look adds to the dreamlike quality.
Not sure which I will keep, and which I will photoshop more.

When Alien Peanuts Attack!

I don't have a narrative to go with this yet, but I'm thinking about it. :)

Jeffersonville, IN, Saturday, 15 September 2012

Not the greatest picture in history, sorry.
This is a honeylocust.
You do not want to fall into this thing, ouch.

It was very sunny, so the cell camera overexposed.
This is a polkberry.  The berries are poisonous to people.
The leaves can be used in salads, if carefully used.
They are vivid purple berries.  Here the foliage is turning color.

Geese.
Lots of Geese.

Ate at Cluckers on Friday.
It's getting to be a little slow on service, and a little pricey.

New Pictures

Above, barely visible is a bi-plane from
Saturday, 8 September 2012.
The cloud pattern is pretty interesting.

Same photo, but the bi-plane is enlarged
to see it better.
It was very cool.

Monday, 10 September 2012, a jet catching the morning
sun is barely visible in center of image.
If it had been a UFO, it would have been poor evidence.

There is no rhyme or reason,
but sometimes the cell camera gives a better
or worse resolution.  Here the crescent Moon
looks reasonable.

As with the photo above,
the Moon is shown on the morning of
Tuesday, 11 September 2012

You will have to click to enlarge.
The photo below, is the same.
I have circled the Moon, Venus, and a jet's contrail
looking red in the morning sun.
Tuesday, 11 September 2012.

The coincidence of the Moon, Venus, and a jet's contrail
gave me a feeling of high strangeness.

It is a little better image.
The three objects can be seen a little better,
but in real life, it was spectacular.

Still Experimenting with Cell Camera

Sometimes it is convenient, and sometimes it just gives weird effects.  It has a lot of lens flaring.  This can produce cool effects, and sometimes can be annoying.

Before I go into the three pictures, this morning my cell was useless.  I was crossing the Ohio Rover bridge, and below me was a giant steam boat - American Queen maybe, couldn't take time to study it.  To my left, in the east, the sun was blood orange reflecting in the quiet Ohio River.  Just then, a V-formation of geese swooped over the bridge and right into the sun.  Oh, to be a pedestrian on the bridge with a great camera and the ability to stop time.  But now all I have is the high strangeness of the moment.

Now the pix:

Above, believe it or not, is the Moon high in the sky at 6 something in the morning Thursday morning 6 Sept 2012, and a tiny, tiny Jupiter.

On my way into Half Price bookstore Thursday night (6 Sept 2012),
I saw two contrails forming a "V" as the sun was setting..

Friday morning (TGIF) 7:09 AM, 7 Sept 2012, the Moon.  Just a dot.
But no lens flare!!  Just shaky hands.

Barney Hill Hypnosis Interviews

This is the one that started it all when i was a kid.  It scared me then, and it can still scare me.

Above, my current copy of Interrupted Journey.

Here are the taped recordings.  They are very scary.

These are 1&2 of 5 available at Youtube.
